We came to Haus of Meeshie with an interesting, seriously dilapidated basement and a long list of dreams: a speakeasy bar, a full bathroom, a guest space, and an office nook—all in under 600 square feet. We didn’t hold back with our desires, and neither did HoM. From our very first meeting, Meeshie listened thoughtfully, asked the right questions, and truly understood our vision. When it came time for the design presentation, we were completely blown away. Not only did HoM present two creative floor plans (including bold changes to walls and plumbing), but also two fully fleshed-out design aesthetics. One was a a more over-the-top, funky concept; the other was a more neutral but equally stunning design. We ended up choosing the funk, but genuinely loved both—she nailed it on all fronts.
The construction phase came with its fair share of surprises and challenges, as these projects always do, but HoM was there every step of the way. Their organization and project management were impeccable, and their dedication never wavered. From frequent site visits during construction to the final styling touches— furniture, art, and even throw pillows—HoM went far above and beyond anything we could have expected. The final result is absolutely jaw-dropping, out-of-this-world design that somehow checks every single box on our wishlist. We couldn’t be happier, and we can't recommend HoM highly enough.
Meeshie is an amazing person and designer. She is truly the most remarkable and creative designer I have met. As a Realtor, I am surrounded by designers that are agents or agents that used to be designers, who do a great job of staging and fixing homes for the market, but many of those designs are rehashed visions from Instagram, so they are visually interesting but not unique. She has redesigned 3 of my homes, my RV trailer and done design for many of my clients who bought or sold a home.

If we could give more stars we would. Designing our home was daunting at first. We knew we wanted something different and special. We knew we wanted it to have a POV. All of that requires a designer with all of the above. And Michelle is it! She’s crazy talented, collaborative and a dream to work with. She made our house a home. Meeshie is such a wonderful, talented and creative designer! We used her to help us revamp a few of our commercial apartment buildings (exterior facade and Lobby). She did such a beautiful job maintaining the historical look of the properties all while giving them a pop and facelift to attract the new renter! She connected us with all the best vendors, got amazing pricing and stayed within our budget and timeline. I could not recommend her enough!
