We wanted to evoke a Moroccan hammam while exploring a more neutral, layered palette. The focus was on natural textures such as reeded wood, a checkered zellige floor, Blue Roma quartzite, raw zellige-clad shower and bath walls, and micro-pebble shower flooring. The overall feel is old world, yet modern. We carried that inspiration into the primary suite as well, designing a custom burl wood bed with integrated curved nightstands and lamps. It was a welcome challenge to show how maximalism can still exist within a neutral palette.
